Import from a web page (browser extension)
Use the Caramel Board Clipper browser extension to import images from web pages with a right-click.
With the Caramel Board Clipper browser extension, you can add images from web pages to a library with a right-click.
Install and connect
- In Settings > General, under “Browser Extension Key Settings”, use “Add extension” to add the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- Press “Issue key” and copy the Clipper key.
- Paste the key into Clipper’s settings screen.
You can regenerate or revoke the key at any time.
How to use
Right-click an image and choose the destination library from the menu. It is added as a stack. Videos whose URL points directly to a file can also be imported.
What can’t be imported
- Streaming video (such as YouTube) and DRM-protected media
- Images and videos shown in special formats (such as blob:)
When password protection is on
If you use sharing with basic authentication or a password-protected library, you also need to set up authentication in Clipper.
